Luca's Big Bummit to Ljubljana
Hi, in April this year I am hitchiking with Bummit to Ljubljana! This is Bummit's 20th anniversary with a hitchhike over 1,200 miles!!
I will be in a team with two others, joined by 200 others in the society. We will be hitchiking from Sheffield to Ljubljana in Slovenia in the space of 9 days. I am trying to raise a target of £250 to be split between these amazing charities:
The Sick Childrens Trust - When a child suddenly becomes ill, there’s no time to plan. The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families one less thing to worry about by giving them a place to stay, and someone to talk to, free of charge just minutes from their child’s bedside.
ASSIST - Supports people seeking sanctuary and who have been refused asylum. Providing accommodation, information and other support.
Broomhall Homework Club - Provides a space for young people to study, access computers, support with their studies and university/job applications for their futures
Roundabout - Yorkshire’s local youth housing charity providing shelter, support and life skills to young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Legebitra - Slovenian non-partisan LGBT civil society organization, active in the fields of human rights, education, mental, physical and sexual health.
