Against my better judgement (and literally everyone&#x27;s advice), on the 8th of June I will be competing in Durham&#x27;s 11th Fight Night.Whilst (trying to) revise for my final exams, I will also be learning how to box, training multiple times a week to try and learn how to properly fight in the short time scale of 6 weeks - probably most notably trying to cut out drinking, which out of all of this is worryingly the part most people seem to be concerned about.In my final term at uni after a crazy 3 years, I thought it would be great to push myself out of my comfort zone , raise some money for charity and get a once in a lifetime chance to get in the ring and box in front of hundreds of people, before I have to get it together and start acting like an adult. Opinion is very divided on whether I&#x27;ll smash it/get smashed, although it has been pointed out I&#x27;m no stranger to a black eye or slightly embarassing myself...Fight Night is a fundraiser for the Oddballs Foundation, an amazing cause that aims to raise awareness of testicular cancer, promoting self examination in order to prevent deaths from a disease that is 95% curable if caught early enough.I would be so grateful for any donations to help support this fantastic charity - I don&#x27;t massively fancy getting battered for nothing xThanks in advance!
