Hello there my name is Michael and I will be walking / cycling 1215 miles from Land End to John O groats (The Length of the UK). This will take three months to complete
I am fundraising to get as many donations for these two amazing charities: The National Kidney Federation and The Country Side Charity (CPRE - shropshire branch)
A few years ago my oldest friend was sadly diagnosed with kidney disease. In order for her to gain a much more fulfilling life without the pain and effects of kidney failiure - she desperatley needed a new kidney. Thankfully she has recieved a new kidney which has now allowed her to live without the pain and effects of kidney disease. The Kindey Federation work tirelessly to persuade the Government, the Department of Health and the NHS to provide better treatment and services for kidney patients. They also provide a helpline for patients batteling with kidney disease. Any donations towards this charity will help allow them to continue providing quality support to the patients battling this awful disease. This is the Nationial Kidney Federations Link:
The CPRE are also a charity that are close to my heart as they are advocating nationwide for the kind of countryside we all want: one with sustainable, healthy communities and available to more people than ever, including those who haven’t benefited before. With the current climate emergency and ecological crisis - this charity are doing amazing work to help benefit us all. The Shropshire branch's aim is to promote the beauty, tranquillity and diversity of Shropshire's landscape by encouraging environmentally sustainable use of land and other resources in the county's towns and countryside.
