On the 13th November, Elle &amp; Ollie will be taking part in Baby Bummit, the BIGGEST charity hitchhike in the UK!! We will set off bright and early to get from Sheffield all the way to Edinburgh in one day (&amp; one piece), relying only on the kindness of strangers for lifts.Bummit is a fundraising event that raises money for Sheffield RAG each year. This year, we are supporting 4 incredible charities - please check them out below! Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help us achieve our goal - big or small 🚘🚘ASSISTSupport individuals who have been unsuccessful in their asylum applications, many of who have escaped the unimaginable horrors of war, violence and persecution. <h3>Next week I will be taking part in Baby Bummit - the UK&#x27;s biggest charity hitchhike!!</h3>Last year I travelled over 300 miles in 4 cars, 2 lorries and an empty coach(!) to get all the way from the Students Union in Sheffield to our hostel in Edinburgh! Many teams were unsuccessful, but we managed to get door to door without spending a penny (including the maccie&#x27;s coffees that were kindly donated to warm us up) - all while raising money for some incredible local charities.This year, on the 9th November, Harry and I will be attempting to do this again. Along with 200 others, we will be challenging ourselves to get from Sheffield all the way to Cardiff relying only on the kindness of strangers!<h3>All of this is to raise money for some incredible local charities as part of Sheffield RAG - and for this we need your help.</h3>I have attached below a little bit of information about these incredible charities:S6 Foodbank - The S6 Foodbank provides emergency food and essentials to those who need it most, working on a referral basis local people are given a minimum 3 days nutritionally balanced emergency food and support.Hope For the Future - Hope for the Future is a climate charity which works to equip communities, groups and individuals across the country to communicate the urgency of climate change with their local politicians.Shout - Shout is the UK&#x27;s first and only free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging support service for anyone who is struggling to cope with their mental health.Sheffield Young Carers - Dedicated to supporting young carers and youngpeople affected by drug and alcohol issues in their family.<h3>Anything you can donate, even the smallest amount, will help massively in helping us reach our fundraising goals.
