Hey all! On the 8th of November, I will be hitchhiking from Sheffield to Glasgow as part of Sheffield RAG&#x27;s Baby Bummit!We are raising money for 4 charities, 1 based in Glasgow and 3 in Sheffield. The Sheffield charities are 1) The Snowdrop Project, which provides support for survivors of human trafficking; 2) Cavendish Corner Care, which is funded by donations and works alongside the NHS to support cancer sufferers and their families; 3) Sage Sheffield, which offers therapeutic art programmes to people whose lives are impacted by mental illness. The Glasgow charity is Urban Roots, an environmental organisation that focuses on protecting the environment and improving living conditions in Glasgow. Any small donations will be greatly appreciated! :))

Beginning on the 23rd of March 2024 I will be hitchhiking 1,428 miles from Sheffield to Porto as part of the world&#x27;s biggest charity hitchhike! We are raising money for 5 great charities based in Sheffield and Porto. Here is a bit about each charity:Weston Park Cancer Charity supports those living with cancer and their families, by offering logistical services, such as free transport to access treatment, as well as leisure activities to improve quality of life, such as free swimming lessons. The Snowdrop Project provides long-term support for survivors of human trafficking. This includes counseling services, social opportunities, and training opportunities.Bens Centre is the only center in Sheffield that provides a safe space for those who suffer from substance abuse to begin recovery whilst still under the influence. The center provides hot meals, clean clothes, and internet access, creating an environment to help people get back on their feet. SAYiT offers wellbeing support to young LGBTQ+ people living in Sheffield. It offers a range of services including support groups for those living with HIV, sexual health education, and training to help organizations improve their knowledge and address discrimination. Banco Alimentar Contra a Fome is a national foodbank organisation in Portugal. Their bank based in Porto provides food for 55,000 people.
