Ecclesiastical (London and South East) are fundraising in support of The Brompton Fountain.
Royal Brompton Hospital is a national referral centre for children with heart and lung conditions. It carries out complex heart surgery for patients with chronic conditions who cannot be treated in general hospitals.
The Brompton Fountain is the childrens charity at Royal Brompton and supports cardiac, respiratory and critical care. It provides specialist resources and services for patients and their families, funds vital medical equipment, accommodation and improvements to the hospital facilities which are not funded by the NHS.
Many of their patients have life limiting conditions and will require frequent admissions and often long stays in hospital for surgery and on-going treatment throughout their lives. They want to ensure that patients who are undergoing lifesaving surgery and invasive procedures have access to the latest medical equipment to enhance the care they receive, aid their recovery, and promote wellbeing.
The money they receive from fundraising and donations will help to make a difference for some of the most seriously ill children in the country.
