Hello my friends! I will be running from Liverpool to London in under 7 days this August 2024! A total distance around 360 kilometres (around 230 miles) I'll be running about 9 marathons in 7 days! After my Dad passed away from multiple brain tumours at the end of 2011, I have taken on several challenges to help raise for Brain Tumour Research, but this one will be by far my biggest, hardest, and most meaningful.My Dad was from Liverpool, before he moved down to London in his 30's after meeting my Mum, and would spend the rest of his life there. This is the same journey that I'll be taking...Starting in his home city then running down through the country, before finishing in Central London at the Brain Tumour Research centre at The Queen Mary University.My aim is to raise as much awareness &amp; funds as possible for this great charity.I also wanted to take on a challenge that could inspire others to move more &amp; become healthier, whilst pushing myself close to my limits. This route and challenge, to my knowledge has never been done before (although I could be wrong!)I'm aiming to raise £5,480&nbsp;Why this amount? Because that's the cost of TWO entire day's research on Brain Tumours. This amount would go so far in helping find a prevention and cure. Brain tumours kill more adults and children under the age of 40 than any other cancer, with the number of deaths currently on the rise. It's never been more important to provide them with support.
