This changes everything ... for my running
My Story
It's been a long and winding path. It's time to go beyond the project of challenging ageing through running and seeing where it takes me—currently at 65, a 3hr 30min marathoner. The change to the project is adding fundraising for a range of important educational and community organisations.
My running journey has been a long one; battling my own mental health while running has helped that. But, in my enthusiasm, I overtrained. I ran too much, got injured, and had to fight back from that in 2024.
So far, having completed several marathons, I have gotten faster on each occasion improving my pace while, of course, I have been getting older. This time, at the 2025 TCS London Marathon, having done more than 3,500 kilometres of training, I go for my fastest time yet.
But it's also different this time; it's time to raise valuable funds for charities that contribute to communities and education important to you and me.
I look forward to your support in achieving these goals.
