A team of 8 from Blackstar Solutions is taking on Tough Mudder on 12th August to raise funds for three brilliant local charities:Jessie May Children&#x27;s Hospice at Home: https://jessiemay.org.uk/St Peter&#x27;s Hospice : https://www.stpetershospice.org/Children&#x27;s Hospice South West: https://www.chsw.org.uk/All of these organisations provide vital support for life-limited people in our community, as well as their families. The majority of their funding comes from private donations, so literally every penny raised is making a difference.Tough Mudder is 15k of, well, mud. As if wading through nearly 10 miles of clag wasn&#x27;t hard enough, there are obstacles approximately every 500 meters to add to our enjoyment.These include things like the Mudderhorn - 40 feet of climbing up a rope ladder, then climbing 40 feet back down; Electroshock Therapy - making our way through the aforementioned mud while trying to dodge dangling wires that provide a more-than-unpleasant shock; and the Cage Crawl - a 48-foot pit of water covered in chain-link fence with 4&quot; of breathing room to spare. Definitely not for the claustrophobic!The Blackstar team varies in fitness and athletic capability. It will definitely be a team effort to get through this gruelling course.
