<h3>Ethan and Bummit go to Ljublana</h3>Hey, I&#x27;m Ethan, This year I am taking part in Big Bummit, the biggest student charity hitchhike in the world. From the 1st to the 8th of April I and over 200 other students, will have one week to get from Sheffield all the way to Ljubljana (The capital of Slovenia) exclusively by relying on the kindness of strangers for lifts.By donating you will be supporting four local Sheffield charities, and one based all the way in Slovenia.The sick children&#x27;s trust: A 40-year-old charity committed to keeping families together while children stay at the Sheffield Childrens Hospital.ASSIST Sheffield: A charity dedicated to providing assistance and accommodation to those denied asylum.Broomhall homework club: A local charity that is dedicated to providing safe facilities for children to work and learn in an area of high deprivation where they may lack those facilities at home.Roundabout: This charity is dedicated to housing and training young people between 16 and 25. Not just providing shelter but also vital training courses and empowering them for independent living.Legebrita: A Ljubljana-based charity that is active in the fields of human rights, education, and mental, physical, and sexual health. Legebrita actively campaigns for social and systemic changes based on respect for sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.

This year on the 2nd of December I will be doing a 12-mile peaks hike with Sheffield RAG to raise money for local Sheffield causes. These causes are:The Whirlow Hall Farm Trust - A charity based out of Whirlow Farm in the southwest of the city that provides educational and enriching opportunities to disadvantaged children. Roundabout - A Sheffield charity which works to house homeless young people as well as give them the skills needed to find work and eventually house themselves.Emmaus - A local charity helping those who are/were recently homeless to find permanent housing and become self-sufficient.
