Marathon across (North) Dartmoor🏃‍♀️

Hi Folks! 👋

....So as its been nearly a year after having surgery for my second Ovarian Cancer scare and thankfully benign (all 3kgs of it 😱) ..l was lucky but many women unfortunately aren't. So now back to full fitness l fancy doing alittle something to give back to world and to really raise awareness and spread the word for both these vital life changing charities . This will be my first Marathon run which will cover the Northern part of Dartmoor starting from Sticklepath to Postbridge then back over the moor ending at Cosdon Hill to raise some dosh for the Lady Garden foundation charity in aid of Gynecological cancer and also for the Mind charity which is close to my heart.

The brilliant Lady Garden foundation is a charity that raises awareness for the 5 Gynecological cancers and it provides help to women who have been affected by the disease.

Mind is an outstanding charity who provide essential help and support for people suffering with mental health issues.

So there you have it..dig deep folks and if anyone fancies joining me on any part of the the route feel free to bring a pint! 😁
