It occurred to me at the time that if I did this every night for the duration of my Nephews Pacific and the contents of my pocket was one pound sterling, that by the end the row the jar would contain close to £150. A meaningful amount but a small percentage of the £1M goal.Last week I heard that there was now more than 1000 people who had subscribed to receive the ships log.It then occurred to me that if all of us emptied the ash tray in the car, the box on the dressing table or wherever else the loose change seems to go on a weekly basis we would raise £150,000 – 15% of the boys target!Try it. It’s fun and before you know it you have been part of a major contribution to their cause. Lets see where this goes!
