<div><br></div><div>Having recently achieved a world record by being the first and only man so far to have climbed Mt Kilimanjaro carrying a fridge, I am in training for my next fundraising adventure.</div><div><br></div><div>The £20,482 I raised for North Staffs Mind from that challenge is being used to set up and run a weekly alliance group for men called 'Mindful Men'. It will begin in September and will offer a holistic approach to men's mental health by combining talking therapies, guest speakers and outdoor physical workshops.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>I am still training most weekends with my fridge, and I still need your support to make this the most amazing men's mental welfare support group ever. Please scan my QR code whenever you pass me.</div><div><br></div><div>My Story ...&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>I decided to start hiking which improved my mental health massively and physical fitness. This is where I  began to get the idea to start raising money for mental health charities and hopefully be a positive light for other people struggling with their mental health.</div><div><br></div><div>Since then, I  have set two major events up called, Mountains for mental health.</div><div>The First one last year was climbing Snowdon with a fridge full of beer to raise awareness for mental health and raise funds for calm and secondly, this year I recently completed the UK'S national three-peak challenge whilst carrying a fridge to raise awareness for mental health and funds for Mind.</div><div><br></div><div>I've tried to inspire other people to get outdoors and see what benefits the outdoors and physical fitness has on your mental health.</div><div><br></div><div>So why the fridge, well the fridge is meant to symbolise and be a physical representation of mental health and what is it is like to carry the weight and burden if someone could see how you feel.</div>
