Hi everyone! Thanks to our (marginal) success hitchhiking to Glasgow last Autumn, we are excited to announce that THIS EASTER Craig and I will be hitchhiking all the way from Sheffield to ... PORTO, Portgual !! Combining our incredible talents of speaking mutiple languages (Allie) and having common sense (Craig) we are absolutely certain we will make it to Porto, with many interesting stories along the way !!Together we have to raise £250 in support of some incredible charities (more info below) based in both Sheffield and Porto! The Snowdrop Project - https://www.snowdropproject.co.uk/The Snowdrop Project is a South Yorkshire based charity that provides long-term holistic support to empower survivors of human trafficking in the UK to recover from their past and rebuild their future.3. Ben&#x27;s Centre - https://www.benscentre.org/Ben’s Centre provides a safe place for those who suffer substance abuse. It is the only damp centre in Sheffield which means that individuals can access support whilst they are under the influence.4. SayIT - https://www.sayit.org.uk/SAYiT is a charity offering wellbeing support to young LGBTQ+ people in Sheffield. They work with young people aged 8-25 offering a range of support.5. Banco Alimentar Contra a Fome - https://www.bancoalimentar.pt/bancos/porto/Banco Alimentar Contra a Fome is a national food bank organisation and is one of the most important social support organisations in Porto.They help other social and non-private organisations by providing them with food to be distributed amongst local communities.

Allie and Craig's BIG Bummit to Porto 2024

I moved to Sheffield for University last September and have since made some incredible friends and lasting memories! This November, my boyfriend Craig and I will be hitchhiking from Sheffield to Glasgow as part of &#x27;Bummit&#x27; - the world&#x27;s largest student-led hitchhiking group. This is an incredible opportunity to make even more fun memories and raise money to give back to my new local community! The target for this Baby Bummit event is to raise £80 - I would appreciate it so much if you were able to donate or even spread the word 🥰This is the Baby Bummit campaign; a hitchhike challenge within the UK.
