Hello and Thank you,On the 16th of September I will be starting a journey of trying to cover the distance of the UK coastline as quickly as possible, To put this into a little bit of perspective if I ran 30 miles a day everyday it would take me just over 250days to achieve the 7723 miles, Now to clarify one thing I’m not actually running the coastline but the distance of it, the reason is because I will be also doing my job and the little bit of a social and sports life that I have alongside it 😁, The main and only real reason I’m doing this is to raise some awareness and possibly a bit of cash for my two chosen charities who are for one reason are very personal to myself, the reason for the £1 target as I don't want to pressure people in to feeling like they have to give but obviously any donations is hugely appreciated, if you can’t donate just spreading the word is amazing 😁😁 I will be posting a video or a post everyday on either my Instagram or Facebook to keep everyone up to date as well as the distance ran for a specific day on Strava.&nbsp; The two chosen charities are MIND UK&nbsp;and PAPYRUS.MIND UKMIND is the UKs leading charity in the fight to help with mental health and the importance of trying to keep a health mind as well as a healthy body. They help to provide aid to anyone that is suffering and know that NO ONE should suffer alone and in silence.https://www.mind.org.ukPAPYRUSPapyrus is the UKs charity for the prevention of young suicide (under 35), they help to provide support for those under 35 who are experiencing and or struggling with suicidal thoughts or intentions or those you know someone that is. Donate to Sam&#x27;s Campaign hereHi I&#x27;m Sam Nutt and on the 4th May I plan to run from MPA to Stanley, take a quick picture, then turn around and run back the way I came, covering a total distance of just over 100km. Weather in the Falklands is unpredictable so I&#x27;ll more than likely be running through wind, rain and possibly the odd bit of hail or snow. There is no set time limit apart from I plan to do it within a day and plan on running every step. Money raised will be split between two charities, these are:RAF Benevelont Fund- For over 100 years this has been the RAFs leading welfare charity providing both currently serving and former members of the RAF and their dependants with financial, practical and emotional support in anyway they can. They aim to provide support through difficult times in any way possible whenever they require it.https://www.rafbf.orgMIND UK- Like potentially most initially I didn&#x27;t really understand in the importance of mental health as fortunately I haven&#x27;t ever suffered with the negative mental health effects. However, almost 10years ago I lost one of my closest mates to mental health and ever since then I understand the importance of trying to keep a healthy mind as well as a healthy body. Running for quite a few people helps with this and like running MIND UK are leading the way to provide aid in the UK when it comes to mental health, they believe that no one should suffer alone and provide aid and support for those that do suffer.
