Hey,on the 1st June...&nbsp;I am cycling from Land’s End in Cornwall to John O’groats in Scotland whilst raising money for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, The Multiple Sclerosis Society and Mind North Staffs on the 1st June. Three charities close to my heart as my dad passed away from bowel cancer when I was young, my auntie and uncle also passed away a few years ago to cancer too. My Nana had MS towards her later life and died when I was younger too. Lastly, also for Mind North Staffs for anyone and everyone who has ever experienced difficulties with their mental health.I had a dream of cycling around the world when I was 18, but my plans changed so throughout my life I’ve done small 60 and 100 mile bike rides for charity multiple times in the past, but this year I thought whilst I’m fit, healthy and the green light was given by my work to have the time off for it, I thought I might as well go for it.&nbsp;As much as it’s unpaid time off, I’m still grateful and thankful to have the time to do this challenge, raise money for 3 great charities and hopefully inspire others to do similar.The route will see me go cover over 1000 miles and have around 60,000ft of elevation over the course of the ride.The LEJOG route, more commonly known as Land’s End to John O’Groats, starts in the most Westerly point of the British Isles. The ride traverses the hilly Cornish terrain before a tough stretch up and over the Dartmoor landscape. The final leg will be the remote North Coast of Scotland to the most North East point of the UK, John O’Groats. The journey of roughly 1,000 miles will be a true test and one which will never be forgotten, like those who I’m doing this in memory of too.Any donations, however small or large will be massively appreciated.Thank you for taking the time to read !&nbsp;Sam&nbsp;
