We are raising money for Amnesty International, who work to help people wherever justice, freedom, truth and dignity are denied. Their aim is to try and create a more just world where everyone’s human rights can be accounted for.We want to raise money for this worthwhile cause by pushing ourselves to do a variety of different challenges. The first will be a half marathon in preparation for our next and bigger challenge. Climbing the Welsh Three Peaks.  We will summit the three tallest mountain in Wales (Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Cader Idris and Pen y Fan) within 24 hours in May.We wanted to do this challenge for several reasons. First, it&#x27;s a fantastic way to push ourselves physically and mentally, testing our endurance and resilience. The challenges offer a sense of accomplishment that comes from a distance run that neither of us have contemplated and also reaching the summit of the final iconic peak-Mount Snowden.We are looking forward to tackling these challenges together for a reputable cause, Amnesty.The £1500 we aim to raise, will aid in funding research which will be used to identify and resolve human rights issues globally.
