I’m running a 50km ultramarathon this September in honour of my Great Uncle John, who was recently diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).MND is a brutal, rapidly progressing condition that affects the brain and nerves, stripping away the ability to move, speak, and eventually breathe. Watching my Great Uncle John’s health decline so quickly has been devastating — but it’s also lit a fire in me to do something that matters.So, I’m taking on this huge physical and mental challenge to raise awareness and funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) - a charity that supports people with MND and funds vital research into this cruel disease.Every step I take during those 50km will be for John, and for every family affected by MND. 🧡If you can, please donate, no matter how small, and help make a difference.
