<div>Hey, this year I am taking part in Baby Bummit, the biggest charity hitchhike in the UK. On Monday the 10th of November, I will be joining over 200 Sheffield Uni students will be attempting to make it all the way to Bristol, relying on the kindness of strangers on the M5. All for a good cause however as I will be raising money for 4 wonderful charities, 3 in Sheffield and 1 in Bristol. Hey, this year I am taking part in Baby Bummit, the biggest charity hitchhike in the UK. On the 13th of November me and over 200 others will have one day to get from Sheffield to Edinburgh, relying completely on strangers to get us there!Our money raised for Bummit will be spilt between four charities, all of who provide vital support for those that they care for:1.) Assist Sheffield Assist support individuals who have been unsuccessul in their asylum applications. many of the individuals they help have escaped the horrors of war, violence and persecution. 2.) Sheffield Women&#x27;s Aid SWA is a small, Sheffield based charity who focus on housing women and children from anywhere in the UK who are in need of a place of safety. They provide accommodation for women who have suffered domestic abuse. sexual abuse and violence.3.) Roundabout A South Yorkshire Homeless Youth charity who provide aid through homeless prevention services. They offer accommodation in hostels , helping a transition to independent living and mediation with youths and their families.4.) Simon Community Scotland Homeless charity which is dedicated to meeting people who are homelss or are at risk of becoming homeless. They help people to find safe and reliable homes as well as providing addiction support, employability improvement and trauma care.
