On the 14th September 2024 I will set off to run Route 1 in Iceland, the 1350km ringroad looping around the outskirts of the entire island, aiming to run 100km everyday for 14 days! I will be running assisted by a crew of 5 who will be sleeping with me in a van on the side of the road, filming the journey, cooking my meals (9,000kcals per day) and stopping me from being hit by cars.
Through the rain, unpredictably high winds and hills, I'll run a lap of Iceland, never before completed in anything less than a month. Luckily we won't need an icebath, we have the sea!
I'm raising money to support the incredible Children with Cancer UK, a charity which I also work for, due to the incredible work they do to fund research and welfare surrounding childhood cancer. My sister Libby had a brain tumour at just 10 weeks old which has impacted her entire life. She is now the most insanely wonderful person anyone could meet, and more children like Libs should come out the other side of cancer and thrive. No child should die from cancer, join me on this journey and let's give these kids their lives back!
