Walkathon for the JLP Foundation

Created By Lydia Butler

From 1st to 31st May, as part of the Equal Experts walkathon, we’ll be stepping our way around the globe (again!), competing in teams, raising money for charity, and having some fun along the way.

One of our chosen charities is the John Lewis Partnership Foundation and we are raising as much money as possible to support this great cause.

For this year's walkathon they specifically would like to support their Building Happier Futures programme. In their words:

"We believe that every child and young person should have a fair start in life. Building Happier Futures, a Fund of the John Lewis Partnership Foundation, is how we support UK projects for care-experienced people, and make a difference to vulnerable children and young people who don’t have the safety net of family support. We want to improve lives and harness the talents of individuals who have grown up in care – whether this is through direct support and financial aid, or providing employment opportunities and training for young people when they leave care. By focusing on their education and skills, we can equip them for long-term success, so they feel empowered to fulfil their potential."

Every step counts, literally. Support your walkathon colleagues, friends and family members by donating to this worthy cause.
