For the first time in HMS Oardacious history, the Atlantic crossing in December 2024 will be an all-women crew, the HMS Oardacious Valkyries.
Our team will row in shifts of 2 hours on 2 hours off, all day every day covering 3,000 miles from San Sebastien de la Gomera (Canary Islands) to Nelson’s Dockyard (Antigua) for the title of fastest all women military team to row the Atlantic.
Our first chosen charity (RNRMC) is very close to our hearts but beyond this, our campaign focus includes a number of initiatives supporting young women in environments where women are under-represented across UK communities. Our second charity, the Young Women's Trust does precisely this and a lot more.
