Over the next 6 weeks I will be training up to participate in Round 6 of Nottingham’s Student Fight Night.
This involves an intense training programme that will hopefully take my complete lack of boxing skills to something worth watching.
At the end of the 6 weeks (5th June 2025) my skills will be put to the test when I enter the ring and take on another fighter in front of over 1,000 spectators.
Whether I win or lose, this is all in aid of two incredibly important causes, with one being particularly close to my heart.
Firstly, the Oddballs Foundation, raising awareness for testicular cancer.
Secondly, the North Wales Cancer Appeal, whose funds go directly to purchasing equipment for the North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre at Glan Clwyd Hospital - where my Dad was treated from 2020 up until he passed away in 2023.
