I am running in memory of my grandad who was supported in many ways by the Alzheimer's Society during the last few years of his life. He was one of the happiest and funniest people who just loved making people laugh and dementia stole that from us, but the Alzheimer's Society helped in so many ways from getting him out the house and socialising, to making sure my grandma had everything she needed to care for him.
They do incredible work for people with dementia and their loved ones/carers and they are a fantastic cause, well worthy of digging deep in your pockets! Thank you🏃🏻♂️
