Hey there, thanks so much for checking out my givestar campaign. About an hour ago (6 days before the event) I took the plunge and signed up to my first ever running event! Can I run 13.1 miles? I have no idea, but I'm going to give it my all and hopefully raise lots of money for a very worthy cause. I have chosen The Christie Charity as my good friend Pam was given the lifechanging diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma earlier this year. Now awaiting a Stem Cell Transplant at Christies Manchester followed by 4-6 weeks in isolation, she's been told she has a very shi**y road ahead!! Yet in spite of all of this she is still the one making everyone else laugh and remains positive and determined to kick the big C's butt! I'm hoping some of her unfaltering strength and determination rubs off on me for Sunday - and hopefully I know enough kind people to help me reach my fundraising target! Thanks in advance 🙏🏼 😉
