It's that time of year again where I optimistically sign up to run some kind of ridiculous distance in aid of some kind of charity - this year it's the Alzheimer's Society.
I started working last year in a dementia care home and after learning a lot of the residents' stories, seeing firsthand the difficulties they and their families go through, and hearing about the amazing work that the Alzheimer's Society do to support individuals and their families, I was inspired to try and raise as much money as I can for them. Every little helps, and if you can't afford to donate then spreading the word will do just as much good.
