#ProjectPerimeter - Attempting to be the first Britons to ever run the entire perimeter of Australia.

Their run is also a mission to support ARC Counselling, a rapidly growing organisation that started in their local area. ARC Counselling provides vital mental health services, including free counselling sessions for children and subsidized sessions for adults, made possible through generous donations and local council funding. Finances should not be a barrier to receiving mental health support. 

The organisation also extends its reach into schools, offering both counselling sessions to students and education on mental health awareness and management.  

The challenge is also is aid of the SSAFA who support veterans and their families, allowing them to thrive during and post service. With veteran in their communities, and Smith planning to attend Sandhurst following the project, this cause is particularly close to the team's hearts. 

The journey will commence in Darwin, Australia, where Smith and Pitcher will set off running clockwise around the continent. Their endeavor underscores the importance of mental health support and the incredible impact ARC Counselling And the SSAFA has on their communities. 

It is important to the team, not only to raise money to support this incredible charities, but also to engage in a conversation regarding mental health support, living with mental health struggles and overcoming barriers in life.
