A small team of combat veterans are going to be taking on a 500km Arctic Ultra!
Our team:
Jason Fox – Former Royal Marine and SBS. Now an author and TV personality. Including SAS Who Dares Wins.
Aldo Kane – Former Royal Marine sniper. Now a well-known TV Adventurer including Expeditions with Steve Backshall.
Brian Wood MC - Former soldier and military cross winer. Author and personality. Including a BBC mini-series about his life: Danny Boy
Karl Hinett – Former soldier who was badly wounded in Iraq. Invictus Games medal winner, ultrarunner and mountaineer.
This race takes place on snowmobile trails in Swedish Lapland. This 500km self supported race starts in the small town of Överkalix. We will travel on rivers, lakes and through forests, all inside the Arctic circle. Pulling our pulk (sled) with all our equipment and food we need to survive, for up to ten days.
100% of funds raised will go to help other veterans in need of support through the great work that SSAFA the Armed Forces Charity does.
