Hello everyone,
On 1st June Saturday, I am excited to participate in the Million Minutes challenge, aiming to pledge a collective 1,000,000 minutes of fundraising activities for the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity. I have committed to contributing 240 minutes through a mountain climb/walk to support the Children's Cancer Centre.
My Challenge: Brown Clee Hill Circular Walk
To fulfil my pledge, I will be conquering Brown Clee Hill, Shropshire's highest peak at 540 meters. This circular walk is 5.2 miles long and takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete. It is a moderate climb, perfect for an exhilarating outdoor adventure while supporting a great cause.
About Brown Clee Hill
Brown Clee Hill is not only the highest point in Shropshire but also a place rich in history and natural beauty. During my walk, I will explore several Iron Age hill forts, including the well-preserved Nordy Bank. The scenic route offers stunning views and is sandwiched between the charming towns of Ludlow and Bridgnorth, offering a delightful end to the trek with a variety of dining options.
