It's London Marathon time again and I'm honoured to have been given a 'celebrity' place with Samaritans, a charity very close to my heart and who's sevices I have had to use on several occasions.
In keeping with the mental health and fruit theme, this time I will be running as a box of cereal - where's the fruit in that you might ask?
I'm going to be a box of 'Fruit and Fibre'! I will have a great big sign on my back saying 'Your mental health is as important as your breakfast cereal'
But the London Marathon is also acting as a training run for the Everest marathon, which I will be taking on a month later.
Having taken the mental health message around the world last year and completing a marathon on every continent in 7 days, I now want to shout about it from the top of the world and so will be taking on this marathon as well.
The funds raised for these 2 marathons will be used to support both the Samaritans and also The Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme.
Thank you very much for your kind donation.
