In May 2025, I will be embarking on a 16 day trek to Mt Everest Base Camp in Nepal to benefit Alzheimer’s Research UK. I’m thrilled to be helping lead and organize such an incredible adventure while supporting life-changing work. Alzheimer’s is a devastating disease, and if we don’t take action, stats show that one in two of us will be directly impacted by dementia—whether by developing the condition ourselves, caring for a loved one, or both.
My grandfather is currently suffering from dementia, and we’ve had to watch him endure the awful symptoms that slowly take away pieces of who he is. He is truly a rock in our family, and one of the most genuinely supportive, loving, humble, and inspiring people on this planet. It’s heartbreaking to see someone you love go through that, and it has inspired me to take action, to help make a change in the face of this devastating disease.
