This year I will be running 6 world marathon majors while supporting a cause that is close to my heart: the fight against Breast Cancer.
In 2024, I set out to complete all six World Marathon Majors in a single calendar year while supporting a cause close to my heart: the fight against breast cancer. Unfortunately, after completing the first marathon I faced a knee injury that kept me sidelined for the rest of the year.
It was a tough and frustrating setback, but the goal remains the same - so I’m rolling it over to 2025. Take 2!
This year, I’ll be (re)attempting to conquer six World Marathon Majors - Tokyo, London, Sydney, Berlin, Chicago, and New York - in honor of my mom, whom I miss dearly every day. It’s a daunting challenge (especially when dealing with noodle knees), but it’s nothing compared to the battles faced by those fighting cancer.
Breast Cancer Now is committed to developing world-class breast cancer research and support to those impacted by it. It is their ambition that by 2050 everyone who develops breast cancer will live.
