My name is Harry Squires, and I am set to take on my hardest challenge yet, after completing the Thames Path 100k challenge in September 2024. I will be attempting to run from Chelmsford to Cardiff over six days in April 2025, (7th - 12th). I will be averaging 34 miles a day, 208 miles in total. It is essentially 8 marathons in 6 days.
This is a huge step, and I know just how hard it is going to be. However, I am ready to push my body to the limit in order to get it done and reach the finish.
Along the way I am raising donations for:
Sport In Mind - a UK charity that uses sport and physical activity to help people with mental health problems improve their wellbeing. You can read more here, https://www.sportinmind.org
The PSP Association - a charity that supports people living with Progressive Supernuclear Palsy and Cortico Basal Degeneration. The PSP Association estimates there are around 4,000 people living with PSP in the UK. This charity is very close to my heart, having lost my nan to PSP in 2022. When I took part in the Thames Path Challenge I raised £895 for the charity. You can read more here, https://www.pspassocation.org.uk/
I will be posting updates on my training, progress and journey.
