Renowned actor and avid motorcyclist Charles Dale is embarking on an unforgettable charity motorcycle ride across England & Wales in memory of his dear friend Shaun, who tragically passed away following a brain injury.
Charles, a Welsh actor known for his film and many tv appearances including Coronation Street, The Lakes and latterly as Big Mac in the BBC’s Casualty. With support from celebrity connections and leading names in the biking world, the ride promises to be an exciting high-profile event raising vital fund for Headway – the brain injury association and Brain Tumour Research.
The Ride
A ride around Wales and England, stopping at hopefully a 100 motorcycle meet points and cafes in under a month, along with some potential Q&A sessions.
Starting Monday 19th May 2025 in Tenby and taking around a month to raise awareness about the work of two fantanstic charities, finally getting to the finishing location in Carmarthen.
The desire is to encourage riders to join Charles on route or at the meet points.
Shaun's TT 100
The TT abbreviation in Charles's event is short for "Trauma and Tumour" to reflect the two charities that Charles is supporting with his incredicable fundraising; Headway - the brain injury association and Brain Tumour Research.
Please note: Shaun’s TT 100 is a supporter-led challenge taking place in aid of Headway – the brain injury association and Brain Tumour Research. The event has been independently organised, with all planning and logistics managed by the organiser. Neither charity is responsible for the delivery of the event nor holds any liability.
Both Headway and Brain Tumour Research are proud to support this challenge by helping raise awareness and promoting Charles’s efforts. The organiser is seeking support from corporate sponsors to cover essential event costs. In the event that sponsorship does not cover all costs, a small portion of the funds raised may be used to contribute to the final delivery and to raise awareness of both causes. All remaining donations will go directly to support the vital work of the charities.
