Hey everyone! 👋

I’m Byron McGuigan — former Sale Sharks player 🏉 and now proud member of the coaching staff 🎯. Throughout my career, I’ve always tackled every challenge head-on 💪 — whether that meant putting my body on the line for the badge, or now helping to shape the next generation of Sharks 🦈.

On Sunday 18th May, I’ll be taking on a new kind of challenge — not just as an official starter 🚦 of the Great Manchester Run 10k 🏁, but as a runner too — all in support of the incredible Sale Sharks Foundation 🫶.

The Foundation is the heart ❤️ of everything we do off the pitch. From delivering education 📚 and mental health support 🧠, to creating inclusive programmes for young people and vulnerable adults 🤝 — we’re proud to use rugby as a force for good across the North West 🌍.

I’ve never backed away from a challenge — and I won’t start now 🏃‍♂️🔥. Every step I take is to help create more opportunities and brighter futures for the communities we serve.
