Hi, I’m Noah, and I’m 10 years old (almost 11)! In 2025, I’ll be running the Whitstable & Herne Bay Spring 5K in March and the Battersea Park 5K in June to raise money for ADHD UK, a charity that means a lot to me because I have ADHD. I’m also hoping to run as many Parkruns and other timed events as I can throughout the year to keep challenging myself and raising awareness!
Having ADHD can be tough sometimes, but one thing that really helps me is running—fast! Exercise isn’t just fun for me; it also helps my brain work better. Science says running boosts important brain chemicals like dopamine and norepinephrine, which help with focus, attention, and staying calm. It’s like giving my brain a superpower boost!
ADHD UK does amazing work to support people like me. They’re working to change how ADHD is understood in the UK, fighting stigma and helping people get the support they need. They don’t get any government funding, and fundraising can be tough, so every donation really counts.
By donating, you’re helping ADHD UK continue their vital work and helping kids like me thrive. Whether it’s £1 or £10, every little bit makes a difference. My original aim was £350, but you have all been so kind (AND Linford Christie ... WOW!!!!!) and we've raised more than double that now!! I wonder if I can make it to £1000 - that would be amazing ... obviously I would like to get as much for ADHD UK as I can!
Thank you for reading my story and for cheering me on as I run to make a difference!
Let’s do this together! 🎉
