Attempt to run the fastest marathon dressed as a tap

Created By Marcus Mumford

10 years ago I had the pleasure of becoming the fastest person to run a marathon while dressed as a toilet. The experience of thousands of people shouting "Go Toilet!" at me for 3 hours was something I'll never forget. What was even better was that I was able to use the challenge to raise lots of money for the amazing charity WaterAid.

To mark the 10th anniversary of this achievement I am now attempting to set the Guinness World Record for running a marathon dressed as a tap!

I will have to faucet and go full flow for the entire 26.2 miles and there will be times when I'll be hot and cold but I hope to wash away any doubts and be able to spout about my success when I cross the line!

Getting into the Guinness Book of records again will be great but even greater will be raising lots of money for WaterAid who provide clean water, decent toilets and good sanitation to the poorest communities in the world. All things we take for granted but are literally life changing for those without such basic amenities.

I'll be digging deep to do my best and I hope you'll be able to dig deep to help support this fantastic cause.
