Hello everyone! We are Dan and Alain and we have decided to cycle from London to Bangkok!

We have chosen to raise money for charities and causes that our close to our hearts and stand for something we both believe in.

Chesterfield FC Community Trust - Dan's chosen charity.

Dan believes in the power that sport can have to develop individuals and communities, particularly in young people. Chesterfield FC Community Trust improves participation in sport for young people, improves health and wellbeing of the local community, and reduces isolation in older people, along with many other positive community impacts.

Islington Foodbank - Alain's chosen charity.

Alain is born and raised in Islington, London. Islington Foodbank say "We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK".

Campaign Agianst Living Miserably (CALM) - Our chosen shared charity.

"We’re the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and we’re taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and standing together to show life is always worth living. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. CALM exists to change this - by offering life-saving services, provoking national conversation, and bringing people together to reject living miserably".
