This summer, a group of 14 Eltham College students are heading to Uganda to support the excellent work of International Needs and the GEM foundation (more details below). We are going to cycle and run from 5am to 5pm on Tuesday 25th March non-stop to raise money for these charities. Please give generously!
This year we are particularly supporting an IT infrastructure at Buikwe Secondary School. The Ugandan ministry for education has recently started to move examinations online which is difficult for a school with seven computers between 900 students. We are aiming to part-fund the purchase of at least 30 computers.
The GEM foundation works with orphaned and abandoned children with special needs from all parts of Uganda.
