In August 2025 I will be setting off on a 2500 mile running adventure between the four compass points of mainland Britain.
I will be running an ultramarathon everyday for almost 65 days to make my way from Ness Point to Dunnet Head, to Ardnamurchan Point, then down to Lizard and finally back to where I started.
You might be wondering why?
Because at 22, my Mum suddenly died of breast cancer. Grief left me with severe anxiety and I was unable to leave my house. But her words "Do all you want in life, because you'll never know when you won't be able," stuck with me and helped me get through.
18-years on I want to challenge myself with this epic adventure and raise widespread grief awareness and vital funds.
I'll be raising £10,000 for three amazing causes:
Cancer Research UK: To fight the disease that impacts so many families.
It's Time: Who provide vital support to young people who have lost one or both parents.
The Firefly Project: Who provide grief education for schools and community organisations to make sure young people get the support they need through one of the most difficult times in life.
Donate today and together, we can:
Fund research to save more lives.
Support young grievers with the help and support they need
Break the taboos and create a more compassionate world where no-one has to feel alone in their grief.
