I cant believe I am back out running!
You all know I said no more marathons 😅 Well this is to prove to myself I still can!

Last February I had to have surgery that changed my life, my colon had to be romoved and a permenant stoma.
After years of being poorly, struggling with pain and my tummy and the toilet my stoma has made such a huge difference to mine and my families life.
I feel I can live again!

I am going back to run the London Marathon this year, I actually won my place after volunteering last year!
I have decided this year I am going to split my charities and raise money for 2 incredible charities close to mine and my families hearts.

I have for a number of years raised money for Lupus UK for my Mum. Mum suffers from Lupus.
Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease where the bodys immune system starts attacking itself. Lupus affects people in many different ways for my poor Mum it has caused many nasty sypmtoms and has menat many long hospital stays. She has unfortunatley spent lots of time in intensive care extreemly unwell.
It is so important to me to continue to raise vital funds for Lupus UK, they are a small charity that need support and awarness.
Â
My other charity is Colostomy UK. I have chosen this as I have needed support after my surgery and will need this for the rest of my life. They are an incredible charity that work to support and empower people living with stomas. Their help and advice has been amazing so I want to be able to give back to be able to support other with stomas.
