On Sunday 2nd June, 12 Hawick lads take on the incredibly tough challenge to conquer the highest peak in Scotland, England and Wales all within 24hours for 3 amazing charities.
Carefully selected by the group, the 3 charities are Oliver's Trust, Alzheimer Scotland & The Difference. And with the help of you lovely people, we hope to raise £1500 to split equally with the charities.
We've not made this challenge easy, with 26miles of hiking and over 3000m of climbing we look for the generosity of friends & family to fuel us up those mountains! Remember we are trying to do all this, and travel from hike to hike, in 24 hours.
Will Rory, Phil (Pim), Craig (Des), Daniel (Kyle), Gary (Dodger), Greg, Gregor (Hepi), Liam (Gibby), Liam (Benny), Steven (Mabs), Lewis and James (Pello) achieve the near impossible?? We are going to give it our best shot.
For more info on our chosen charities see below;
Alzheimer Scotland - Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland’s national dementia charity. Our aim is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families, we campaign for the rights of people with dementia and fund vital dementia research.
Oliver's Trust - Our goal is to give families a glimmer of hope in their time of need. The main aim is to create a "Home from Home" in a seperate building near the BGH for families with sick babies or children who are staying in the childrens ward/SCBU.

The Difference - From the little things to the transformational things, our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of the Borders. We enhance patient care by providing the 'added extras' that are over and above that which is provided by the NHS.
