Hofesh Shechter Company is a boundary-breaking dance company and charity led by award-winning choreographer and Artistic Director Hofesh Shechter OBE.
We believe that dance has the ability to prod, poke and tap into our deepest emotions. In all our work, our mission is to move ourselves and our audiences beyond reason.
This year, we premiere new creations, tour our work across the UK and internationally, begin our search for Shechter II 2026 and reach aspiring dancers through our Shechter Moves programme.

Each year, Hofesh Shechter Company aims to:
1) create innovative contemporary dance (live performance, film and digital work) that provokes and challenges
2) tour the UK and internationally, taking our work to audiences across the world
3) develop the next generation of exceptional dancers through our Shechter II programme
4) make contemporary dance relevant, engaging young people and communities in its enjoyment through our Shechter Moves programme
