A 10km Bear Crawl up and back down the Dunsop Track. From the Play Area to the Bench at Brennand.
The main aim of the crawl is to raise money for the Dunsop Bridge Play Area a vital part of the village, a hub for the community. The aim to restore for the children create additions for teenagers and adults. Play is vital for children and for adults, socialising and activity are proven as needed elements in staying healthy and fit both mentally and physically. A play area is great for this especially in an rurally isolated village. Which brings in the 2nd Charity Mind Over Mountains, the connection to mental health, the outdoors, activity and socialising is close to my heart, both in work, in my personal life and in my history. My own brother suffered with this disconnection and in the end could not give any more and took his own life. I only wish that there could have been another form a freedom for him another choice. Mind Over Mountains Provide this for so many people, but wouldnt it be great if they could do more. If people could access, know, have chance for this. If this choice was the go to before staying quiet, struggling or even the current normal fix.
