Contactless Donations With givestar and Tap to Pay on iPhone
With Tap to Pay on iPhone and givestar, you can accept all types of in-person, contactless donations right on your iPhone—no extra hardware needed.

How to accept contactless cards with Tap to Pay on iPhone.
1. Open givestar on your iPhone and enter the donation amount.
2. Present your iPhone to the donor.
3. Your donor holds their card horizontally at the top of your iPhone, over the contactless symbol.
4. When you see the “done” checkmark, the transaction is complete.
How to accept Apple Pay and other digital wallets with Tap to Pay on iPhone.
1. Open givestar on your iPhone and enter the donation amount.
2. Present your iPhone to the donor.
3. Your donor holds their device near your iPhone, over the contactless symbol.
4. When you see the “done” checkmark, the transaction is complete.
Screen Rotation
The screen rotates automatically to face the donor. Tap the contactless card on the top part of the screen.
PIN
If required, the donor can enter their PIN on screen.
Location Settings
In order for Tap to Pay on iPhone to work on givestar you will need to ensure that you allow location access when using the app. To do this go to settings > privacy & security > location services (make sure location services is on) > scroll Down to givestar and give permission. Compatibility
Tap to Pay on iPhone requires iPhone Xs or later running iOS 15.5 or later and a supported payment app. Some contactless cards may not be accepted by your payment app. The Contactless Symbol is a trademark owned by and used with permission of EMVCo, LLC.
