Adventure for Good Grant 2024 Terms and Conditions

  1. The Adventure for Good Grant is an initiative created by TapTap Giving Ltd, which trades as givestar. givestar is used in this document in place of TapTap Giving Ltd.
  2. One submission per individual or team applying.
  3. By applying for our Adventure for Good Grant, you are agreeing to givestar collecting and storing your contact details in order to contact you regarding your application. You can unsubscribe from emails regarding your application at any time.
  4. You must be 18 years or over at the time of application and reside in the UK in order to apply.
  5. Applications close at 11.59pm on 31st May 2024, however, we will be reviewing applications as they are received and reserve the right to amend the application closing date at any time.
  6. The chosen grant recipients will be contacted by email. We will never contact you from an alias account, or social media account and will never ask you to disclose personal details online in order to claim your grant.
  7. Successful applicants will have 14 days from the date of our acceptance email to claim their grant. If we do not receive a response within 14 days then the grant will be forfeited and a new recipient will be chosen.
  8. All grant recipients agree to exclusively use the givestar platform for any personal fundraising they undertake until 1st November 2025.
  9. The grant will only be issued to the personal bank account of the person who made the original grant application. It is non-transferable.
  10. Grant recipients will be required to sign a partnership agreement with givestar regarding how funds will be transferred and any agreed deliverables in return. This includes providing content from their challenge such as interviews, blogs, photos and videos for use on givestar’s social media pages, website and in any other marketing or press activity. Further details will be provided and agreed with successful individuals upon acceptance of the grant.
  11. givestar will reimburse the successful individuals for reasonable costs, up to the agreed amount, associated with undertaking their nominated fundraising challenge upon receiving proof of purchase and purchase date. The amount redeemable will be advised at the point of acceptance into the grants scheme, along with clarification over what items are covered under the terms of the grant. It will not be possible to claim for any additional expenses other than those mentioned in the partnership agreement. There is no cash alternative.
  12. Unless otherwise specified, the fundraising adventure needs to take place before 1st November 2025. Any unclaimed grants will expire on 1st November 2025.
  13. The grant cannot be used to refund the cost of any challenges or expenses previously completed/incurred.
  14. givestar reserves the right to amend or remove this opportunity at any time, without prior notice.
