Who are givestar?
We’ve built an innovative new fundraising platform to make it easier for the next generation to have an impact and create lasting change. On givestar, you’ll find a community of incredible people who are doing inspiring things, all in the name of charity; such as Russ Cook who’s running the entire length of Africa and Lara Vafiadis who rowed solo across the Atlantic. Now we’re looking for more adventure-seekers who are on a mission to raise money and awareness for their cause to join us!
What is the Adventure for Good Grant?
givestar’s Adventure for Good Grant is a unique opportunity for passionate individuals like you, who crave adventure and want to drive positive change in the world. We’ve got a £20,000 pot, which will be divided up amongst successful applicants and used to cover any costs associated with making your challenge happen - whether that be buying specialist gear, paying for flights, accommodation, camera equipment or something else!
Who can apply?
If you're up for the challenge, here's what we ask of you:
- You're aged 18 years or older.
- You’re based predominantly in the UK.
- You’re planning to embark on an awe-inspiring endeavour to raise funds for charity.
- You’re keen to collaborate with us in spreading your inspiring story far and wide!
